ABSTRACT

A field experiment entitled integrated nutrient management for enhancing productivity and profitability of maize (Zea mays L.) was conducted on sandy loam soils of dry land farm of Sri Venkateswara Agricultural College, Tirupati campus of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University during kharif, 2019. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with nine treatments replicated thrice. The highest dry matter production, kernel yield stover yield and harvest index in maize were recorded with application of STBR + FYM @ 5 t ha-1 (T8), which was statistically at par with the application of STBR + Azospirillum+ PSB + KSB + ZnB (T9) and soil test based recommendation (T7) and significantly superior over the rest of the treatments tried The lowest dry matter production, kernel yield stover yield and harvest index were observed with control (T1).
