The application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in agriculture has revolutionized information dissemination and decision-making among farmers and extension personnel. This study explores the role of mobile applications as digital tools in modern agriculture, with a special focus on the ANGRAU-DAATTC mobile app developed to deliver crop-specific best practices in English and Telugu. The increasing penetration of smartphones and mobile internet in rural India presents an opportunity to bridge information gap and improve farm productivity and livelihoods. Mobile technology is transferring access to information by many folds. New apps are also emerging as per the need and requirements of the user. Development and dissemination of agriculture mobile app should provide accurate, validated content and services across the globe.
